REPORTS TO: General Manager

Position Purpose
The Market Supervisor is responsible for the overall guest experience, vendor service, facility maintenance, and energy of the Market. In addition to their primary responsibilities, the Market Supervisor should build a win/win partnership with our vendors and ensure consistent execution of cleaning and operations standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities, Duties, Functions, and Tasks
Promotes, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of Politan Group.
Ensures the execution of consistency exceeding guest service standards.
Directs and coordinates operations, service, cleanliness, and training standards.
Responsible for Pre-Shift (ex. Assign sections, tasks, responsibilities).
Knows where all team members are at all times. He/she is fully responsible for the current shift.
Must lead the completion of tasks; NOT delegate responsibilities to others.
Receive all comments, concerns, or complaints coming from the team, and communicate to MOD.
Clears dishes, sanitize and set tables, sweep or vacuum the surrounding floor in a professional and effective manner.
Continuous grooming of the entire restaurant and its perimeters.
Ensure all preventive maintenance and cleaning checklists (daily, weekly, per period, annually) are completed thoroughly and on time.
Builds win-win partnerships with vendor partners.
Ensures the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained in the Market.
Fastest worker on the floor.
All other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
Two (2) or more years of experience in a restaurant or similar setting with supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Four (4) or more years of experience in a restaurant or similar setting with supervisory experience
Skills/Aptitudes
Social distancing / Proper hygiene
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Creative problem solver abilities – must be able to identify real obstacles and viable solutions
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Industry knowledge and a strong passion for guest service.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Ability to speak and hear, vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Constant standing, sitting and walking.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
Be able to reach, bend, stoop.
Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Regularly required to use hands and frequent washing of hands.
Additional Information
Position will be required to work nights and weekends.
