Position Summary

To coordinate and direct all guest movement and ensure that every guest leaves satisfied and happy with their Politan Row experience. To perform duties in a competent, knowledgeable, and professional manner.

In the performance of their respective tasks and duties, all employees are expected to conform to the following:

●      Perform quality work within deadlines, with or without supervision

●      Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers

●      Work effectively as at team contributor on all tasks, projects and assignments

●      Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations

Responsibilities, Duties, Functions, and Tasks

  • Recognize and greet all regular and future regular clients upon arrival

  • Manage a customer waitlist, ensuring that tables are turned over for new and waiting customers, using the guideline of one drink purchase per hour to remain at the table

  • Ensures that every person that comes in the venue is carded, of legal age and following dress code, including face coverings as per company policy during the COVID-19 health crisis

  • Ensures that Patio rules are enforced and respected by guests at all times

  • Having a welcoming and accommodating attitude with every guest

  • Being knowledgeable of current and future events at the venue

  • Maintaining a professional appearance, dress code, and integrity of the venue at all times

  • Diffusing situations calmly and respectfully, preventing an escalation whenever possible

  • Coordinating and managing communication between guests and staff and follow up to ensure we resolve customer concerns

  • All other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be motivated, hardworking, passionate with superior verbal skills

  • Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and decision-making abilities

  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and willingness to work as a team to go above and beyond expectations

  • Ability to spot potential situations and resolve conflicts with respect and decorum, escalating to management when necessary

  • Commitment to company values and excellent guest service

  • Ability to keep an open and objective view, listen empathetically, and be respectful always

  • Leadership finesse along with the ability to effectively communicate and motivate a team into high performance.

  • Successful applicants must be able to transition between busy and slower times of the evening, maximizing every guest’s experience.

  • A proven track record of personally providing excellent customer service, sales or previous experience working in a nightclub, bar, restaurant, hotel or similar role a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply divide

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Ability to speak and hear, vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Be able to work in a standing/walking position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop

  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to lift and move patio furniture when necessary

  • Ability to speak and hear, vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

  • Regularly required to use hands and frequent washing of hands.


Additional Information:

  • Position will be required to work some nights and weekends.
